Whitefish Dunes State Park | Sturgeon Bay


Whitefish Dunes State Park is a nature center, with 9 miles of cross country ski trails and the tallest dunes in Wisconsin. Cave Point is always a favorite Door County tourist attraction, especially on windy days when the huge waves crash against the caves.



Newport Beach State Park | Ellison Bay


Newport Beach State Park- is located between Ellison Bay and Gills Rock on Lake Michigan. It is a wilderness area with over 175 different species of wildlife. It also contains Europe Lake which offers 1.5 miles of fabulous shoreline for canoeing or kayaking.


Potawatomi State Park | Sturgeon Bay


Potawatomi State Park – is located on the shore of Sturgeon Bay just west of the city. Its 75 foot observation tower gives a panoramic view that on a clear day reaches 16 miles across the Bay of Green Bay.


Rock Island State Park

Rock Island State Park – is a 906 acre island located one mile northeast of Jackson Harbor on Washington Island, Wisconsin. Hiking, camping, swimming and fishing are available as well as ten miles of hiking trails.
