For one night, Maxwelton Braes will be transformed into a living set with rooms and props reminiscent of the classic film.
The evening starts with a cocktail hour and guests are encouraged to wander the halls of the lodge and discover nods to the film sprinkled throughout. Attendees are encouraged to dress in 1920s attire to fully immerse in the 1920s cocktail bar inspired by the film. And, as it just so happens… Maxwelton Braes was built in the 1929…..
After primed for a creepy evening, attendees will take their seats and enjoy the film on a 15-foot screen with an intermission to include a cash bar and gourmet movie snacks. Generous prizes will be awarded to those dressed in 20s attire.
For those who wish to linger longer, Maxwelton will offer a Fright Night room package to include an evening in a lodge room.
